Welcoming PCOCI to NOCA: Launch Webinar
Registration is now open for the webinar introducing the Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration Ireland (PCOCI) Quality Improvement Programme as it joins NOCA's suite of national audits and registries. The event will take place on Thursday 11th December 2025, from 10:30 to 12:00.
)
This session is aimed at healthcare professionals and anyone interested in learning more about specialist palliative care outcomes and NOCA’s wider programme of work.
The PCOCI Quality Improvement Programme is an assessment and response framework that uses five clinical assessment tools to help identify and manage common symptoms and challenges experienced by people with life-limiting conditions. It supports consistent clinical data collection, enables national and international benchmarking, and drives continuous quality improvement across specialist palliative care services in Ireland. The programme is adapted from the well-established PCOC model in Australia.
During the webinar, attendees will gain an overview of the PCOCI Quality Improvement Programme, its importance for patient care, and progress made as it begins implementation within NOCA.
