The key findings of the 2024 report will be presented by Mr Terence Murphy, Clinical Orthopaedic Lead for the IHFD and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospital Waterford.

This national webinar will explore the latest trends in hip fracture care across Ireland, highlighting improvements in patient outcomes and opportunities for continued progress. The event will also feature insights from the Australia and New Zealand Hip Fracture Registry, a focus on nutrition and recovery outcomes, and the presentation of this year’s Golden Hip Award and Most Improved Hospital Award.

This webinar is open to all healthcare professionals, policymakers, and members of the public with an interest in hip fracture care improvement.
